HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The graduate programme in Micro Biology introduced in the year 1997 aims to create awareness about the necessity for in-depth research in biological sciences. Designed to help the degree holder to enter areas like genetics, medical biology, etc. the course has been creating a silent revolution in academic circles. Academicians to whichever discipline they may belong would agree that the era of nano-technology and clones are not far off. The department though is very young, has won the acclaim of all around.
