RULES REGARDING ADMISSION / WITHDRAWAL

ELIGIBILITY:
	Candidates seeking Admission for the Three year Graduate Programme should have passed TamilNadu Higher Secondary Examination / CBSE / ISC or any other equivalent Examination approved by University of Madras.
	Candidates seeking Admission for the Two / Three year Post Graduate Programme should have passed the Basic Degree examinations conducted by the University of Madras / other Universities approved by the UGC in the respective disciplines.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
	Application forms can be obtained on payment of Rs. 25/- in person from the College office from 2-05-07 between 9.00 a.m. – 1.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday or by sending a demand draft drawn in favour of The Principal , Ethiraj College For Women payable at Chennai along with self addressed envelope 15” x 8”. Filled in application forms should be registered along with a registration fee of Rs. 10/- within 10 working days from the date of publication of the results.

* Community mentioned in the Transfer Certificate should tally with the Community Certificate issued by the Government of TamilNadu.
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
	Reservation policy of TamilNadu Government strictly adhered to.
	Selection of candidates begins from the 3rd day after the publication of the results of the qualifying examinations.
	List of selected candidates would be put up outside the administrative block and online.
	For the self financing courses norm s for selection of candidates are as per TamilNadu Government Order 50% based on reservation policy and 50% by merit.
	Last date for Admission for UG / PG - 31-07-2007
