ensure quality sustenance and enhancement, the college has an Internal
Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), which has been functioning since 2004. |

V.L. Ethiraj's vision of women empowerment inspires us
to provide a quality and need-based education. We disseminate
knowledge without compromising on standards and values.
Hallmarks of the education we impart here are , development
of self-confidence, commitment to excellence, independence
of thinking , sensitization to social and environmental
needs and a holistic / global outlook on life, along with

The cell is headed
by the Principal, a management representative, two members from
local society, a Co-ordinator, with representations from all the
faculties, students union, placement cell and the UGC cell. It meets
periodically to evaluate the progress made by staff and students.
Personal profiles of the faculty are maintained by the IQAC which
also updates these profiles at regular intervals. It reviews the
quality content of the academic programmes offered by the Institution.
It sends the periodic academic progress report to the NAAC , University
of Madras and TANSCHE. It is on this score that the college was ranked First in the Academic Audit
conducted by the University of Madras during the year 2003-04 |
