POPULAR LECTURES IN PHYSICS 2007
In connection with the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of Ethiraj College for Women , the Department of Physics, is organising a three day State Level Popular Lectures in Physics for final UG and PG students from 2nd to 4th August 2007. About 200 student delegates from all over Tamil Nadu are expected to participate in this event. The resource persons for this lecture are from premier research centres Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, and Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) Kalpakkam. Dr.BaldevRaj, Director, IGCAR has consented to inaugurate and deliver the inaugural address.
