STUDENT ACHEIVEMENTS
- The Students of our Department participated and won in various inter and intra-collegiate events like debugging, quiz, connexions, adaptune etc. Our Student were also excelled in many sports like cricket, athletics etc., and brought many laurels to the department. One of our passed out students named S.A. Anugraha won various prizes in tamil oratorical competitions. Now she is one among the orator in Salomon Pappaya’sPattimandram. The final year student of the Department S. Nivetha won various prizes in National and International Poetry competitions in English. She is an active Blog writer.
- The students of the Department held prestigious post in various clubs. Simritha, Dhivya and Swathi, from second year are serving as the President, Vice-President and the Secretary of CSS club (Community Service Scheme).
- M. Varalakshmi of 2016-2017 batch has won the Asian record thrice in classical dance.

ABOUT US
The Department of B.C.A was introduced in the year 2010-2011 with 1 staff and 50 students. Now, the department has grown with six staff and 150 students.
- The Department offers one UG course BCA.
- The Department was incepted in the year 2010.
- The Department has 6 permanent, fully qualified staff members.
- The sanctioned strength for each year is 50 [1 batch x 50 students]
- The Department organizes workshops and seminars for the students, to
expose them to the latest trend in IT sector. - The Department has signed MoUs with NPTEL, Elysium Academy, and
Networkz systems Pvt.,Ltd. - The Department conducts a certificate/value-added course titled “Web Designing”,
open to all other Department students. - Our Department students have participated and won many prizes in inter-
collegiate and intra-collegiate events. - Students are offered more application cum practical-oriented subjects in
their curriculum to develop their programming skills. - The Department has MOOC courses in its curriculum.
- The Department conducts its annual Association meet “REEGALIYA” to
enhance the leadershipskill, communication, presentation, programming,
debugging, creative thinking, adaptability, critical thinking, and personal
skills of the students. - The Department has a high placement record each year.
