DEPARTMENT CULTURAL EVENTS

Idara, conducted annually has a central theme which is relevant to the prevailing business scenario. Around 200 students from various city colleges participate in the event. Eminent Business executives, industrialists, and entrepreneurs are invited to inaugurate the event and ignite the young minds by their inspiring address. The release of our annual journal by our Principal is the most awaited moment every year. It includes articles by the students, alumina and guests that have been compiled by the Student Editorial Team.

ABOUT US

The Undergraduate Department of Business Administration (BBA) is ranked one among the top 30 Colleges offering the course in the country. The Mission of the Department is – “To create an educational system that is capable of producing efficient, confident and ethical Graduates equipped to make valuable contribution to Business and Society”.

The Department incepted in 1998 currently has a sanctioned strength of 70 students with a demand ratio of 10:1. The courses offered in the programme cover various areas of Management. The curriculum aims at student centric learning, to impart in-depth knowledge and enhance their skills to face the challenges of today’s competitive business environment.

The pedagogy of the programme consist of lectures, seminars, assignments, case studies, management games, role plays, group discussions internships and projects with emphasis on practical knowledge and personalized learning. The Department also organizes Lectures by eminent speakers from industry, Workshops and Industrial Visits to bridge the gap between institutional knowledge and industrial requirements, there by provide an avenue for job opportunities and professional growth. The Faculty of the Department is committed to create a conducive and dynamic learning environment.

Entry requirements: The candidate should have studied Accountancy, Commerce/ Business Studies, Mathematics /Statistics/Economics in their Higher Secondary Level.
