1. ACCA: (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) :

The department is proud to collaborate with ACCA UK to offer its programme for the students of business studies stream. ACCA is a globally body for professional accountants incorporated by Royal Charter in accordance with laws of England and Vales. Ethiraj College for Women and ACCA share common and strong interest for advancement of education and holistic learning. It provides the opportunity for individuals of ability to aspire for globally relevant qualifications and future careers to maintain and develop the profession and the wider economy.

2. VAISHNAVI TRUST :

The department has signed an MoU with Vaishnavi Trust as part of Social Responsibility to carry out important activities such as providing stationery, learning materials and volunteers for English teaching in addition to fund raising for under privileged children.

PROGRAM ADVANTAGES

  • ACCA builds skill levels in the areas of Accounting, Finance and Management offering a total of 14 papers. (9 at the Fundamental level and 5 at the Professional level).
  • The Programme also allows students to earn a foreign B.Sc from Oxford Brooke’s University through the Ethiraj College campus itself. A student thus obtains three degrees. (B.Com(CS)/ B.Com(Gen)/B.Com(BM)/B.Com(Hon)/BBA, ACCA and B.Sc).
  • The Programme will be offered along with the existing Business Studies Programme. Professionals from Financial Training Institute, Bangalore will be training the students outside the college hours in the campus itself.
