ABOUT US
The Placement Cell of Ethiraj College has been assisting the students in paving a way to their career. We are happy to share the various activities carried out by the Placement cell.
The placement cell conducts two days career fair called ‘Bhavishya’ we invite speakers from Corporate to speak on various career opportunities in the market and how to explore the industry expectations etc.
The Placement Cell also organized Seminars on overseas education to create an awareness of various courses offered by Foreign Universities.
Skill Enhancement Training is given to the final year students in areas of Aptitude Test, Resume writing, interview skills, Extempore and Group Discussion techniques.
The placement cell builds and maintains a healthy database of the companies who visit our institute every year to recruit our young talents.
We are proud to say that almost all the major players like Deloitte, EY, Wipro, HCL, Citi Bank, Odessa, RBS, CTS, , Infosys, TCS, State Street, Ford visited our campus for recruitment.

Deloitte National Event- (2016 2017) Graduate School Maverick Competition
The Maverick @ Graduate School Program is a distinctive competition conducted in leading undergraduate colleges across India. The program conducted in three stages provides an opportunity for the students to propose solutions for current day Business Challenges and brings them closer to corporate environment.
The Second stage of the competition Colosseum’s South regional was conducted on 19th December. There were a total of 21 teams taking part from our College, Loyola College, Madras Christian College and Stella Mary’s College.

Ernest Young (EY) Conducted – Second Year Student Internship – (2018 2019)
The Intern – Assurance works as part of the audit support team, perform basic audit tasks, and ensure quality documentation as per timelines set by the team manager.
The Interns are paid Rs.17000/-as stipend. The Selected Students from the Aided streams went for Internship after the college hours. (Dec 2018 – March 2019)
